BRUNSWICK — Curtis Memorial Library’s Money Works for Women program will conduct a program titled “Managing Credit and Debt,” featuring Leslie Linfield, executive director and founder of the Institute for Financial Literacy, at 5: 30 p.m. Wednesday.
“The program will focus on how to understand and manage credit and debt, and attendees will be guided by a workbook, written by Linfield, and given free to all who attend,” a library release states. “Linfield is a national authority on adult financial literacy education and consumer finance issues.”
A noted author, Linfield has published several books on personal finance, and regularly appears on television as a personal finance expert.
The Institute for Financial Literacy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making “effective financial literacy education available to all American adults,” the release states.
