The following students were named to the second quarter honor roll at Freeport High School. Ninth-grader Alexis Erlandson and 11th-grader Taylor Enrico achieved high honors. Sophomore Brooke Heathco, senior William Freeman and freshman Blake Enrico earned honors distinction. Their names were omitted from the original honor roll that was published on Feb. 17.
Casey Cummings of Westport Island recently gained induction into the PRIDE (Programs Rooted in Developing Excellence) Incentive Club at the L.S. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University.
Samuel Denson of Bath recently received an associate of science degree in ship production from Maine Maritime Academy in Castine. Diplomas were presented to graduates at a mid-year graduation ceremony on Dec. 11, 2011. Denson is a graduate of Morse High School in Bath.
Joel Soucie of Brunswick received an associate of science degree in ship design from the Maine Maritime Academy in Castine on Dec. 11, 2011. Soucie is a graduate of Mt. Ararat High School in Topsham.
Trent Vellella of Brunswick received an associate of science degree in ship design from the Maine Maritime Academy in Castine on Dec. 11, 2011. Vellella is a graduate of Morse High School in Bath.
Dominic Canonico of Freeport received a bachelor of science degree in marine engineering from Maine Maritime Academy in Castine on Dec. 11, 2011. Canonico is a graduate of Freeport High School.
