Leonard Shevenell of Brunswick was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at Thomas College in Waterville.
Sarah Pier, a senior at Freeport High School, has advanced to Finalist standing in the National Merit Scholarship Program, an academic competition for recognition and scholarships. High school students enter the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT. From the 50,000 high scorers, 15,000 advance to Finalist standing.
