BATH — Applications for the Paul Hanley Memorial Scholarship at University College at Bath/Brunswick (UCBB) are now available and are due March 30.
The scholarship was established in honor of the former Phippsburg resident and longtime student at University College, who died in 2010, according to a release from UCBB.
Hanley was awarded his bachelor of arts degree posthumously at the 2011 University of Maine at Augusta commencement ceremony.
To contribute to the scholarship fund, send a check payable to UMA to University College at Bath/Brunswick, 9 Park Street, Bath, ME 04530. Please write “ Paul Hanley Memorial Scholarship” on the check.
To qualify for the scholarship, a student must attend classes at UCBB, be in a University of Maine at Augusta bachelor’s degree program, have earned more than 30 credits, have a minimum grade point average of 2.5, and have demonstrated volunteerism.
Applications are available at the Midcoast Center for Higher Education, 9 Park St.
