BATH — Sen. Seth Goodall, D-Richmond, will hold a public forum to discuss legislative and state issues from 11 a.m. to 1 p. m. Saturday at Bath City Hall.

Goodall represents Senate District 19, which includes Sagadahoc County and Dresden.

Goodall will give a brief overview of pending legislation and the budget, then he will answer questions.

The 125th Maine Legislature is currently in the middle of its second regular session and expects to adjourn in early April.

Legislators will likely address two more supplemental budgets and controversial legislation dealing with clean elections, labor laws, workers’ compensation, education reform, the merger of state departments and investment bonds, Goodall said in a release.

“There is a lot of work happening in the Legislature and many key issues that will affect our state,” he said. “I want to hear more about what people have to say.”
