WATERTOWN, Mass. — The CatholicTV Network is teaming up with Roku to stream its programming on Roku players.

The move announced Wednesday adds CatholicTV to the roster of news and entertainment networks available through the Roku devices. The Roku players use high speed Internet connections to stream video and music to various devices, including televisions, computers and tablets.

CatholicTV offers religious news and educational programming, as well Daily Mass, The Rosary and Catholic talk shows. It airs in nine states, including Maine, as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands.

CatholicTV’s general manager Jay Fadden says the network wants to use all available technology to expand its reach and spread its message.
