Upon its 25th anniversary, the Harpswell Heritage Land Trust (HHLT) is looking to complete a survey of members and Harpswell residents to identify the area’s most important conservation projects.
The effort that began in 2011 has collected more than 275 responses from within the organization and from selected people in the community, according to a press release. The organization is now looking to solicit input through a questionnaire mailed to all landowners and Harpswell residents.
John Boomer, co-chairman of the organization’s Community Viewpoints committee, said in a release that the “survey has already surfaced some wonderful ideas for additional programs.
“We appreciate the willingness of so many people to give us their input, and we will surely benefit from the broader perspectives to be gained,” Boomer said.
