BATH — Corliss Street Baptist Church is hosting a free licensed screening of the movie “Courageous” on Saturday.
“ Courageous” centers around the lives of four police officers and their friend, Javier, who overcome tragedy to journey beyond being “good enough fathers” and answer the call to become men of courage.
The movie is the fourth produced entirely by members of Sherwood Baptist Church of Albany, Ga. It is rated PG and offers a strong pro- family message, like its predecessors, “Flywheel,” “Facing the Giants” and “Fireproof.”
The screening at Corliss Street will begin at 1:20 p.m. Soda, popcorn and cookies will be served. The movie and refreshments are free.
The church is located at 17 Weeks St.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
