WISCASSET — Maine Women’s Business Center at CEI and the Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission are teaming up to sponsor “Marketing & Promoting Your Website”on March 7, 9 a.m. to noon, at Coastal Enterprises, Inc.’s conference room, 36 Water St., in Wiscasset.
According to a news release, the workshop will explore a variety of tools and strategies that can help you to maximize your site traffic. It will cover the difference between organic and sponsored search, how major search engines determine if and where web pages get indexed under a search term, and what it all means in regards to your website content.
The instructor is Marita Fairfield, who has presented workshops and counseled businesses about websites and Internet marketing for more than nine years.
Pre-registration is required, so go online to www.wbcmaine.org/Events. The cost is $25, and there is a limit of 12 participants. To request a waiver of the class fee, follow the online instructions. Coffee and breakfast refreshments will be provided by the Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission.
