AUGUSTA (AP) — Maine State Police say foul play is suspected in the disappearance of a Florida firefighter who’s been missing in Maine since Feb. 16.
State police detectives and Bangor police searched a home in the Waldo County town of Jackson over the weekend, which is believed to be where Jerry Perdomo of Orange City, Fla., was last seen.
The house is owned by the father of 24-year-old Daniel Porter, of Bangor. Porter and his 25- year- old girlfriend, Cheyanne Nowak, may have been the last ones to see Perdomo.
Detectives were processing the home for clues on Perdomo’s whereabouts. Porter and Nowak were located and interviewed in Connecticut by detectives last week and have now returned to Maine.
