The Maine Sabers football team will hold a new player evaluation at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the Portland Sports Complex on Warren Avenue. The evaluation is open to athletes 18 and older. Nonesuch River Golf Club in Old Orchard Beach will hold an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. The event will offer an opportunity to learn about membership, leagues, clinics, passes and member tournaments. There will be complimentary drinks and appetizers.
