WOOLWICH — The deadline to purchase and dedicate a brick on the campus of the new Woolwich Central School is Wednesday.
Bricks purchased for dedication will be included in the construction of a spiral walkway in the garden area of the new school, and proceeds from the brick sales will help pay for items such as a sports scoreboard, a granite compass near the front entry and other items not covered by the construction contract, according to a press release from the school.
To order a brick to be included in the school’s construction, visit bricksrus.com/order/wcs. Brick forms can also be turned in to the school office.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
