BATH — Sagadahoc Preservation Inc. (SPI) will present “ Painting Conservation: A Conversation with Nina Roth- Wells” at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Winter Street Center, 880 Washington St.
“The talk will introduce the concepts of art conservation, covering both practical and ethical issues, and will include case studies of paintings that Ms. Roth-Wells has worked on recently, with a focus on Maine and regional art,” an SPI release states.
A native of New York City who now resides in Georgetown, Roth-Wells is a Bowdoin College graduate who earned a master’s degree in art conservation from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario. She owns an art conservation firm, and her clients include museums and private owners.
Admission to Sunday’s program is free. Refreshments will be served after the presentation. For more information, call 443-2174.
