BATH — A one-day course about Environmental Protection Agency requirements for lead renovation, repair and paint will run from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 19 at Wing Farm Parkway.

The session will run from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The fee is $25, which includes lunch.

Participants will learn the health effects and work practices associated with working with lead, according to a release from ACCESS Health, the sponsor. General contractors, painters, carpenters and landlords are encouraged to attend.

This course meets the training requirements of the federal renovation, repair and painting rule. Successful completion of the course allows renovators to apply for firm certification through the US EPA.
