Music and Nightlife: Joan Osborne lights at One Longfellow

JOAN OSBORNE is best known for her 1995 solo hit “One of Us,” but there’s much more to her than that whimsical tune about God. Considered one of the best soul singers around, she’s toured and recorded with a bunch of groups, most recently Trigger Happy featuring members of The Black Crowes. This year, she’s back touring on her own in preparation for a new album.
