BATH — The Bath Garden Club will meet at 11 a. m. Tuesday at the Grace Episcopal Church, 1100 Washington St.
A brunch social will be followed by a business meeting. After the meeting, guest speaker Charlie Paul of New Gloucester, a certified master gardener volunteer, will present Container Gardening 101.
“This timely topic will show us how to get our gardens started for the coming spring,” a release from the club states. “ Gardening in containers includes plants, flowers, vegetables and herbs that will thrive indoors until the season is right for outdoor planting.”
The meeting time has been moved forward to accommodate the arrival of the Bath food truck in the church parking lot area. When possible, garden club members should park on Washington Street.
“Bring a friend because guests are always welcome,” the release states.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
