BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Democratic Party will caucus on Sunday at the Brunswick Junior High School gymnasium, 65 Columbia Ave.
Doors will open at 2:30 p.m.
The caucus is open to all registered Democrats. Nonvoters or those not registered in a political party may enroll at the caucus to become Democrats. The town clerk will be available from 2: 30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. to register new voters or change unenrolled voters to become Democrats.
All caucus participants must be present and registered by 3:30 p.m.
U.S. 1st District Rep. Chellie Pingree, D-Maine, will speak at 3:30 p.m.
The caucus will select delegates for the state convention to represent their choice for the president.
Attendees who wish to support clean elections candidates by giving $5 to the clean election fund should bring their checkbooks or credit cards.
Brunswick Democrats will raffle a ticket to see President Obama on March 30 in Portland.
The caucus is expected to conclude by 5 p.m.
