GORHAM — Goodwill Industries of Northern New England opened its new Buy the Pound Outlet in Gorham today.

The outlet offers customers deeply discounted merchandise that did not sell in its retail stores. Prices are determined by the weight of the goods purchased.

Goodwill hopes the arrangement will reduce the amount of materials that end up in the waste stream.
