BRUNSWICK — The 31st annual boys Mid-Winter Basketball Classic and the 11th annual girls event are scheduled to be held next week at the Brunswick Parks and Recreation Department.
The 24-team boys tournament features five Mid-coast region squads.
Bath Middle School takes on Memorial Monday at 10:15 a.m.; Brunswick Junior High seventh-graders face Windham eighth Monday at 2 p.m.; Brunswick- eighth meets Greely Monday at 8:15 p.m.; Mt. Ararat tackles the Gray- New Gloucester/SMC winner Tuesday at 11: 30 a. m.; and Durham faces Auburn Tuesday at 8:15 p.m.
The boys championship tilt is set for next Friday at 8 p.m.
The 11-team girls event has six Mid-coast teams.
Durham and Yarmouth meet Monday at 5:45 p.m.; Mt. Ararat and St. John’s tussleTuesday at 10: 15 a. m.; Brunswick faces G-NG Monday at 7 p.m.; and Woolwich Central and Bath get together Wednesday at 5:45 p.m.
The girls championship contest is set for next Friday at 6:30 p.m.
