STOWE, Vt. — The Bowdoin College Nordic ski team finished 11th of 12 teams at the Dartmouth Carnival last weekend.
Spencer Eusden earned the top individual finish of the weekend for the Polar Bears by placing 19th in the grueling men’s 20K classic, finishing in a time of 1:00:44.1. Eusden also took 33rd in the men’s 10K freestyle (28:13.5), finishing just behind Kevin Hoose, who took 32nd in the 10K (28:13.5).
Kaitlynn Miller continued her excellent season for the women’s team, leading the way for Bowdoin in both events. Miller was 27th in the 15K classic (51:58.8) and took 32nd in the 5K freestyle (15:39.7).
The Polar Bears are entering the homestretch of the EISA season and will compete at the Williams Carnival this Friday and Saturday before taking aim at the EISA Championship at Middlebury on Feb. 24-25.
