NEW FACES
• Paul Lefebvre was recently hired as the developer evangelist for Real Software Inc., makers of Real Studio, a cross-platform Web, desktop and console development tool. Lefebvre, of South Portland, has more than 20 years of software development experience. He is the owner of LogicalVue Software Inc.
• Dr. Rhonda Kroll joined Mercy Falmouth Internal Medicine, a department of Mercy Health System of Maine. Kroll has 25 years of clinical experience in general internal medicine with an interest in geriatrics.
• Gary Bellegarde joined Camden National Bank as a vice president, commercial banking officer. Bellegarde has 14 years of experience in the financial services and lending industries. His office will be based in Lewiston.
• Will Ethridge joined Portland’s Downtown District as its events and marketing manager. Ethridge received his master’s degree in public policy and management from the University of Southern Maine’s Muskie School of Public Service, where he worked as a research associate for the Maine Justice Policy Center. He is also the founder of local music label Eternal Otter Records, and the creator of the Tower of Song Festival.

• Timothy Thompson was promoted to managing director of Life Solutions Group, Penn Mutual’s Boston career agency. Thompson, of Cape Elizabeth, was previously a general agent and agency manager.
• Katherine Joyce was named a shareholder of Bernstein Shur. Joyce is a member of Bernstein Shur’s energy and environmental practice group.
• Jana Spaulding was promoted to vice president of public and community relations for the Maine Red Claws. Spaulding, of Cumberland, has served as director of public and community relations for the team since May 2009.
GENERAL
• Vets First Choice announced that it acquired Maryland-based online veterinary pharmacy VetCentric. The combined company becomes the nation’s largest online veterinary partner pharmacy and marketing services provider, serving more than 6,000 veterinary practices and more than 25 million pet owners. Vets First Choice is operated by Portland-based Direct Vet Marketing.
