The Maine Snowshoe Race Series continues Sunday with a 5K race at Hebron Academy, starting at 1 p.m. The final series race will held March 3 at Roberts Farm Preserve in Norway, also at 1 p.m. Registration fees are $10 and $20 and can be made through the Maine Snow Shoe Series links at www.runreg.com.

South Portland Recreation is hosting a trip to Boston to see the Boston Bruins play the Washington Capitals at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 10. Travel is via luxury coach, and seats for the game are located in Section 326 of the TD Garden. Cost is $110 per person and includes ticket and transportation. Tickets are limited to four per person.
