Dustin Johnson shot 72 at Spyglass and was three back at 9-under 135.
Tiger Woods had a 2-under 68 at Monterey Peninsula, which put him six shots behind.
Wi was at 12-under 130 and heads to Spyglass Hill, which has played slightly tougher than the other two courses.
