BOOTHBAY — Pat Jeremiah will lead Storytime in the Garden at 10 a.m. every Monday — except national holidays or when the Boothbay Region schools are closed due to inclement weather — through May at the Maine Botanical Gardens.

Programs will take place at Bosarge Family Education Center at the Gardens, welcoming youngsters for an hour of readings, questions and conversation. These programs are free and open to all children.

“Jeremiah is one of the Gardens’ most dedicated volunteers, helping out in numerous ways,” a Maine Botanical Gardens release states. “As the head librarian, she has helped build and curate the Gardens’ collection of books for more than a decade. As a knowledgeable horticulturist, she has taught gardening workshops. Through Storytime, she combines her love of books, gardens and children.”

No reservations are necessary.

Coastal Maine Botanical gardens is located off Barters Island Road in Boothbay. For more information, call 633-4333, extension 101.
