GORHAM — Sophomore guard Conor Sullivan scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds — both career-high totals — to lead the University of Southern Maine Huskies to a 77-72 win over the UMass-Boston Beacons in a Little East Conference men’s basketball game Tuesday night at Hill Gymnasium.

Southern Maine earned the season sweep over UMass- Boston (5-17) and improved to 10-11 overall and 3-8 in the Little East. The Huskies have won three of their last four games.

Junior guard Alex Kee of Bath added a career-best 17 points and matched Sullivan on the boards with eight. Kee also had six assists and four steals.

Southern Maine shot an outstanding 57.4 percent (31- for-54) from the field and was 61.5 percent (16-for-26) from the floor in the second half.

Southern Maine is scheduled to host Rhode Island College on Saturday (3 p.m.).
