YORK — Laney Evers scored nine points, Jackie Doyle added eight and Falmouth got a steal and the last basket for a 33-32 girls’ basketball victory over York Tuesday night.

Falmouth improved to 9-8.

Ruby Cribby had 11 points and Marquis MacGlashing had seven for York (13-4).

Both teams were missing key players: York’s Andrea Mountford was out with a sprained ankle and Falmouth’s Ally Hickey was sick.

Mountford is expected to be back in time for the playoffs.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 45, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 31: Abigail Dubois scored 12 points in the second half as Old Orchard (11-6) maintained a lead over the Panthers (9-8) in Yarmouth.

Dubois finished with 14 points and Christina Coleman added 10 for the Seagulls. Morgan Scully, with 16 points, and Charlotte Esancy, with 14, combined for all but one of NYA’s points.

 

MCAULEY 58, PORTLAND 30: Allie Clement had 20 points and the Lions (17-0) built a large lead in the first half against the Bulldogs (2-15).

Alexa Coulombe added 10 points for McAuley, which opened with a 21-4 run and led 33-13 at halftime.

Angie Reali had eight points to lead nine Portland scorers.

WINDHAM 51, GORHAM 43: Meghan Gribbin scored nine of her 25 points in the second quarter as Windham (13-4) used a 14-6 run to take a 28-18 lead at Gorham (7-10).

Stephanie Frost added 11 points for the Rams. Gorham was 9 of 13 from the line in the fourth to put it away.

Kristin Ross scored 23 points for the Eagles. Lexi Merrifield added 10.

 

SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 32, SACOPEE VALLEY 24: Kirin DeSmith had 10 points, 14 rebounds and five steals to lead the Guardians (15-3) past the Hawks (6-11) at South Berwick.

Jenny English chipped in nine points for Seacoast Christian, which held on after taking a 10-4 first-quarter lead.

 

GREELY 44, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 33: Caroline Hamilton drained all three of her 3-pointers during the third period for Greely (14-3), including consecutive ones that stretched a 27-22 margin into a 33-22 lead over the Patriots (9-8) in Gray.

Hamilton finished with nine points to lead the Rangers. Samantha Wilkins scored nine for Gray-New Gloucester.

 

MARSHWOOD 60, MASSABESIC 46: Aubrey Folger scored 23 points and Jorden Mitchell had 20 to lead the Hawks (14-3) past the Mustangs (5-12) at South Berwick.

Folger and Mitchell combined for 13 in the fourth quarter as Marshwood put it away with a 15-7 run.

Morgan Reny scored 14 points for Massabesic. Emily Schatz had 12.

CAPE ELIZABETH 52, YARMOUTH 33: Caroline Kelly scored nine of her 11 points during the second half, helping the Capers (4-13) widen an 18-12 halftime lead to a 19-point victory over Yarmouth (7-10) in Cape Elizabeth.

Cape nullified Yarmouth’s inside game, using a sagging pressure defense on the post to limit the Clippers to 17 points over the first three periods.

 

MT. ARARAT 51, LEWISTON 43: The Eagles (11-6) opened with an 18-5 run and went on to defeat the Blue Devils (2-15) at Topsham.

Molly Estes scored five of her seven points in the quarter.

Leah Hitchcook finished with 14 points, and Mallory Nelson and Kristy Willey pitched in 10 apiece for the Eagles.

Janessa Talarico and Brie Wilson had nine points each to pace eight Lewiston scorers.

 

DEERING 49, SOUTH PORTLAND 35: Marissa MacMillan and Ella Ramonas each scored 12 points, and Chelsea Saucier 10 to lead Deering (13-4) in a victory over the Red Riots (7-10) in South Portland.

The Rams led 34-29 after three periods, but pulled away after South Portland center Brianne Maloney left with an injury early in the fourth quarter.

Danica Gleason led South Portland with 15 points.

 

LAKE REGION 54, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 50: Kelsey Winslow’s jumper sliced through the net with 30 seconds left to play, giving Lake Region (15-2) a 52-50 lead over the Raiders (5-12) in Fryeburg.

Winslow and Sydney Hancock finished with 14 points each for the Lakers, Skye Dole scored 17 for Fryeburg, Kendra Fox 12 and Maggie McConkey 10.

 

BIDDEFORD 50, KENNEBUNK 36: Alyson Roy had 12 points, Bailey Cote had nine and the Tigers (4-13) closed with a 14-6 run against the visiting Rams (1-16).

Cote scored seven points and Roy was 4 for 4 from the foul line in the fourth.

Bryanna Michaud had seven points, and Heather Fecteau and Carissa Gelinas each had six for Biddeford. Fecteau also had eight rebounds and three steals.

Jennifer Davis had 10 points for the Rams.

 

BONNY EAGLE 47, WESTBROOK 42: The Scots (7-10) took a 38-34 lead with a 15-8 third-quarter run, then shot 7 of 8 from the line in the fourth to hold off the Blue Blazes (8-9) at Standish.

Lindsey Howell had 10 points to lead eight scorers for Bonny Eagle.

Jessica Harris scored 19 points for Westbrook, which led 13-6 after one quarter.

 

ST. DOMINIC 31, WISCASSET 30: Olivia Cluff scored eight points to help the Saints (7-10) rally past the Wolverines (2-15) at Auburn.

Kayla Connors had 10 points and 12 rebounds for Wiscasset. Heidi Pinkham also scored 10.

 

ERSKINE 55, BRUNSWICK 53: Meryl Bond hit a foul shot late in regulation for the lead, and Amy Phillips hit a pair to ice it as the Eagles (3-14) beat the Dragons at Brunswick.

Erskine lead by 16 midway through the fourth quarter, but didn’t score again until there were 14 seconds left when Bond hit a foul shot. Phillips gathered a rebound and was fouled with 2 seconds left, hitting a pair of foul shots to give Erskine a three-point lead.

Bridget Humphrey led Erskine with 16 points, eight steals and six rebounds. Bond had 13 points, five rebounds and four assists.

 

GARDINER 52, MCI 26: Katie McAllister had a double-double, finishing with 12 points and 17 rebounds, as the Tigers won at Pittsfield.

Kylee Granholm had eight points for Gardiner (15-2).

Ashley Kitchin had eight points for MCI (2-15).
