STOWE, Vt. — Freshman Kaitlynn Miller continued her impressive campaign with a pair of solid finishes as the Bowdoin College Nordic ski team finished 10th out of 12 teams at the University of Vermont Carnival last weekend.
Miller claimed a 27th-place finish in the women’s 5K classic ( 17: 25.2) and 34th- place showing in the 10K freestyle (31:35.4) to lead the Polar Bear finishers. Hannah Wright was close behind in 32nd in the classic race (17:48.3) and took 46th in the freestyle (32:56.4) for Bowdoin.
In the men’s races, firstyear Kevin Hoose claimed 51st to lead the Polar Bears in the 10K classic (32:10.3), while Spencer Eusden led the way in 34th in the 10K freestyle (26:37.7), followed by Hoose in 37th (26:41.8).
Bowdoin is set to return to action this Friday and Saturday at the Dartmouth Carnival in Hanover, Mass.
