WATERVILLE — A New Hampshire-based group is putting up billboards to spread the word about a missing toddler from Maine.
Ayla Reynolds was 20 months old when she was reported missing Dec. 17 by her father, Justin DiPietro, of Waterville, who said he last saw Ayla when putting her to bed the night before.
Police say there’s no evidence that Ayla was abducted, but the group Lost N Missing says as long as there’s hope Ayla is alive it wants to raise awareness across the Northeast.
The group contacted Ayla’s family with the idea of putting the $30,000 reward and police contact information on billboards.
The group has put up eight billboards in Philadelphia and one in New Jersey and is working to get billboards in Boston and New Hampshire.
