BATH — The Morse High School jayvee boys basketball team defeated Lincoln Academy 55-52 on Tuesday.
Paul Whalen hit two free throws with 33 seconds left to put Morse up by three. Morse led 16-9, 25-18 and 36-32 at the quarter breaks.
Trent Moore, Keegan Drouin and Liam McDonough each had 11 points for Morse, while Zach Holbrook was solid off the bench with nine points and was a defensive standout, along with Moore, Garrett Robson and Casey Watson.
Moore also led the team with nine assists. Drouin helped control the second chances for Lincoln Academy with 15 rebounds.
