BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick High School jayvee boys basketball team earned two more victories over Edward Little and Oxford Hills, taking the Dragons’ record to 11-4.
Standouts in both games were guards Blake Gordon and Derek Devereaux, who shot very well and were able to handle the opponents’ fullcourt pressure.
As for post players, Alex Bandouveres, Brett Lancaster and Kay Innis were tough on the boards, averaging sixeight rebounds apiece.
The Dragons are scheduled to host Lewiston tonight at 5:30 p.m.
“Both wins were earned on the defensive end of the court,” said Brunswick coach Adam Caron. “ My players hustled for every loose ball, took charges, communicated well and played tough man-toman defense, which caused turnovers for the opponents.”
