Library Friends tea
Friends of Walker Memorial Library is hosting its annual “We-Love-Our-Library” tea, from 2-5:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 13, at 800 Main St., and everyone is invited.
Refreshments will be served and members will share information about the work of the Walker Friends group. Walker is handicapped accessible.
Woman’s club
to hear Pardue
Michael Pardue, director of Westbrook Public Safety, will speak when Westbrook Woman’s Club meets at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Westbrook-Warren Congregational Church, 810 Main St. Light refreshments will be served.
Lyric group to entertain seniors
A group from Lyric Theater will perform when Westbrook Senior Citizens meet at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6, in the Westbrook Community Center on Bridge Street.
The seniors are planning several trips this year. Trips include Foxwoods in February; Portland Players to see “A Few Good Men” and dining at DiMillo’s Floating Restaurant on Thursday, March 15; a Celtic show on Sunday, March 25.
Other trips with specific dates yet to be announced are Pigeon Forge in the Smokey Mountains in April; a tulip tour, May; Flag Day, June; lobster trip, July; Alaska, late September or early October; Killington, Vt., overnight, October; and Indian Head, Lincoln, N.H., December.

Annual father-daughter dance
Drouin Dance Center is hosting its annual Father- Daughter Dance for young ladies of all ages and fathers or special male role models, from 3-5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12, at the dance center on the second floor in the Dana Warp Mill, 90 Bridge St., in Westbrook.
The event includes dancing, games, prizes, raffles, sweet treats and fun.

Dessert bake off
Westbrook Eagles No. 2977 is sponsoring a dessert bake off from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, at 89 Saco St. in Westbrook. The cost is $5 to enter and a $5 tasting fee to benefit charities.
Lincoln Club banquet
Phyllis Bailey of Westbrook, corresponding secretary for the Lincoln Club of Portland, said its annual dinner will be Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Italian Heritage Center, 40 Westland, Ave., in Portland.
