BATH — The Bath Middle School eighth-grade girls basketball team lost to Auburn 30-23 Monday to finish the regular season at 5-5.
Bath led 8-4 after one quarter, the teams were tied at 10-10 at the half, and Auburn led 22-16 heading into the final quarter.
Auburn’s Emily Jacques had 16 points, and Sarah Hammond and Kodi Stubbs four each.
For Bath, Olympia Serban scored 10 points, Signe Ostergaard six, and Isabelle Paulus four, while Megan Curtis and Emma Rossetti were offensive contributors.
Serban, Rossetti, Michaela Wright, and Marrissa Wright played well, while Baylie Cram and Madison Savary were defensive standouts.
At the foul line Auburn was four for 13 and Bath five for 14.
