WEST BATH — The Sagadahoc County Sheriff ’s Department charged two male juveniles on Saturday after they allegedly threw rocks at traffic on Route 1.
The incident was reported at 6:20 p.m. Saturday. Chief Deputy Brett Strout said two male juveniles, ages 15 and 16, received summonses charging them with two counts of criminal mischief after they were caught throwing rocks and boulders into Route 1 northbound from an overpass.
Strout said it appeared a rock struck at least one windshield of a vehicle, but as of Monday morning he had no further information.
