AUGUSTA – Biddeford High scored 155.9 of a possible 175 points, edging Marshwood with 154.2 to claim the Western Class A cheerleading title Saturday at Augusta Civic Center.

Noble was third with 145.9 followed by Scarborough (140), Gorham (137) and Thornton Academy (127.9). The top six teams qualify for the state tournament.

Medomak Valley won Western Class B with 142.9 points, 8.2 more than Leavitt. Wells was third with 131.7, followed by Mountain Valley (123.9), Gray-New Gloucester (114.5) and Morse (113.3).

Lisbon scored 122.1 in Class C. Madison (117.8) was second, then Monmouth (103), St. Dom’s (102.4), Boothbay (92.7) and Traip (88.9).
