WELLS – Zach Deshaies scored 10 points and led a third-quarter comeback Friday night that carried Wells to a 49-45 victory against Waynflete in a Western Maine Conference schoolboy basketball game.

After trailing 30-25 at halftime, Deshaies helped the Warriors (9-5) take the lead with a 13-4 run in the third quarter, hitting three baskets and a free throw. Joe Spinelli scored a basket and two critical free throws in the fourth.

Serge Nyirikamba scored 14 points for the Flyers (9-3).

BONNY EAGLE 65, GORHAM 36: Benjamin Malloy had 20 points and Dustin Cole chipped in 19 for the Scots (12-2), who built a 31-17 halftime lead against the Rams (3-11) at Standish.

Cole Libby had 12 points for the Scots.

YORK 72, LAKE REGION 29: Aaron Todd had 10 points to lead York (11-3), which had 12 players score against the Lakers (3-11) at Naples.

Michael Triglione scored 12 points for Lake Region.

MARSHWOOD 67, BIDDEFORD 58: Matthew Crosby scored a season-high 29 points to propel Marshwood (9-5) past Biddeford (6-8) at South Berwick.

Brady Dodge and Jack Verrill added 10 points each for the Hawks. Verrill also had 14 rebounds.

Marshwood outscored the Tigers 17-9 in the second quarter for a nine-point lead it never relinquished. Crosby scored seven and Dodge six in that run.

Bobby Cote led the Tigers with 28 points. Cameron Nadeau added 21.

FALMOUTH 64, POLAND 39: Matt Packard scored 17 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead Falmouth (14-0) over the Knights (8-6) at Poland.

The Yachtsmen, leading 14-12 after the first quarter, used a 22-7 run in the second to open a 36-19 halftime lead. Jeremy Lydick scored eight of his 13 points in the run.

Matt Kingry also finished with 13 points for Falmouth.

Ricky Bryant led Poland with 15 points.

SANFORD 57, SCARBOROUGH 50: Ryan Camire scored 13 points for Sanford (7-7), which used a 25-10 run in the fourth quarter to beat the Red Storm (8-6) at Scarborough.

Sean Smith, who finished with eight points, was 4 of 5 at the line in the fourth.

Brendan Hall paced Scarbor-ough with 15 points.

YARMOUTH 69, FREEPORT 40: Josh Britten had 30 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Clippers (12-2) over Freeport (2-12) at Yarmouth.

Britten scored 20 points in the first half as Yarmouth built a 39-12 lead.

Adam LaBrie added 13 points for the Clippers.

Chandler Birmingham led the Falcons with 15 points. Josh Weirich scored 12.

WESTBROOK 61, MASSABESIC 39: Dave Bruening and Nguot Ngout scored 12 points apiece for the Blue Blazes (6-8) against Massabesic (1-13) at Westbrook.

Ryan Dodge of Massabesic scored 22 points.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 60, TRAIP ACADEMY 56: Joe Gildart’s two free throws with 11 seconds left gave the Seagulls (8-6) a four-point lead against the Rangers (4-9) at Old Orchard Beach.

Gildart’s free throws capped a 17-point effort. Quincy Grace led Old Orchard with 21 points.

Atencio Martin scored 22 and Matt Clifford had 18 for the Rangers, who made it close with a 20-8 run in the fourth quarter.

GREELY 62, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 39: Bailey Train scored 23 points, including seven 3-pointers, as the Rangers (9-5) handled the Raiders (4-10) at Cumberland.

Train made five 3s in the first half as Greely took a 29-27 lead.

Michael McDevitt added 21 points, 17 rebounds and five blocks, and Nick Clark had six assists for Greely.

Bright Amoako had 10 points, and Walker Mallory and Tyler Saunders finished with eight apiece for Fryeburg.

THORNTON ACADEMY 82, NOBLE 54: Justin Pollard scored 20 points to lead five players in double figures for the Trojans (10-4) against the Knights (1-13) at North Berwick.

Pollard made three 3-pointers in the first quarter as Thornton opened with a 24-7 run. He added two in the second quarter and another in the second half.

Connor McCrum had 14 points, and Adam Ek, Jeffrey Gelinas and Quinn Richardson-Newton finished with 10 apiece for the Trojans.

Chris Colburn and Adam Della-Piana each had 15 points for Noble.

WINDHAM 43, KENNEBUNK 37: Kevin Weisser had 15 points and Spencer Hodge added 10 as the Eagles (4-10) downed the Rams (3-11) at Windham.

Weisser opened the third quarter with two 3-pointers as Windham extended its 17-13 halftime lead to 28-19.
