MONMOUTH — Cory Hodgdon scored 10 points and dished out five assists as the Wiscasset High School boys basketball team rolled to a 53-23 Mountain Valley Conference victory over Monmouth on Thursday.
The Wolverines, winners of six of seven, improved to 8- 6, while Monmouth fell to 3-11.
Wiscasset jumped on top 13-2 through a quarter before extending its advantage to 23-7 at the half. The Wolverines led 44-11 after three.
Travis Padilla chipped in nine points, 12 rebounds and four steals for the victors, while Jason Weatherbee had eight points and seven caroms. Caleb Bryant also pulled down seven rebounds.
