
He was born May 13, 1945 in Brunswick a son of Robert C. Sr. and Doris C. Pouliot Toothaker.
Robert was educated in the local schools and graduated from Brunswick High School.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Robert worked with his father learning carpentry and was self-employed carpenter for many years. He later worked at BIW for 30 years until retiring due to his diagnosis of cancer. His whole life was spent as devoted husband, father and grandfather and always put others’ needs before his own.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Angelina Prout Toothaker; a brother, Steven Toothaker; two daughters, Marcie Johnson and Elizabeth Toothaker; a son, Robert Toothaker; seven grandchildren; Megen Pozik, Katrina Toothaker, Chad Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Eden Collins, Scott Collins and Sophia Toothaker.
