FALCONS NOTES: The Falcons, who are 3-1-0-1 against the Pirates this season, snapped a four-game losing streak Wednesday night with a 4-2 win at Worcester. Rookie right wing Cam Atkinson has scored four goals in five games against the Pirates. Center Nick Drazenovic carries a three-game points streak into the game, while veteran center Marty St. Pierre has posted points in six of his last seven games.

PIRATES NOTES: The Pirates, who skated to a 5-3 win against the Falcons last Friday night, are riding a four-game win streak. Rookie forward Jordan Szwarz has scored three goals in five games against the Falcons, while veteran forward Patrick O’Sullivan has two goals and two assists in three games against them. Center Brock Trotter is on a four-game points’ streak. In his last five starts, goalie Justin Pogge has a 2.40 goals-against average.
