
She was born in Bath on July 22, 1930 a daughter of Fraser and Rose (Pinkham) Haines.
Lura was an avid Red Sox, Celtics and NASCAR fan. She enjoyed local racing at the Wiscasset Race Way. She enjoyed her family especially her grand and great grandchildren. She loved to garden. While at the Heritage Rehabilitation Center in Winthrop she enjoyed going out to the facility’s garden.
Predeceased by her husband Charles Robertson and her son Stanley John Robertson and two brothers, Jimmy and Ornie Haines.
Lura is survived by her three daughters, Louise Dutton of Dresden, Toni Currie and husband Fred of Scarbough, Lori Miete of Damariscotta, two sons C. Mike Robertson and his wife Pat of Winthrop, Dennis Robertson of Brunswick, a special grandson Mickey Robertson of Dresden, a brother Joseph Haines and family of North Bath, 12 other grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday Jan 29th from 2 to 4pm at Staples Funeral Home 53 Brunswick Ave Gardiner. A graveside service will be held this spring in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery Civic Center Drive Augusta.
