BATH — Amanda Gagne led all scorers with 12 points as the Bath Middle School seventh-grade girls basketball team defeated Oak Hill 34-26 on Wednesday.
Oak Hill led 8-6 after a quarter, and the teams were tied at 12 at the break. The Destroyers opened the third quarter with three quick steals and a 6-0 run, taking a 24-16 lead through three frames.
Noa Sreden chipped in nine points for Bath, with Ann Tolan adding six, Hope Faulkingham five and Sierra Wallace two points. Emma Gould, Kelsea Albertson, Karen Yurek, Madeline Mitchell, Paige Daigle, Isabel Doran and Marissa Parks played well on offense and defense.
Oak Hill was led by Brianna Mulherin’s 12 points and six from Maddy Bennett.
