WINDHAM — The Town Council decided Tuesday not to fill the seat left vacant by the death of Peter Busque.
Three candidates had applied to fill the council seat until November, though one of them – Rent-A-Husband founder and former councilor Kaile Warren – later withdrew his name.
The remaining candidates were Peter Anania and Carol Waig.
Town Clerk Linda Morrell said, following a 6 p.m. executive session, the council voted 6-0 not to fill the seat before the election in November.
