Now in its 14th year, Merrymeeting Bay TRIAD continues to advocate for older adults in the community through awareness and education programs.

Working with law enforcement officials and community service providers to reduce crime targeting older adults while enhancing their safety and well-being, programs are held at various locations in the Mid- coast area and include:

Safe Driver Course: Refresh safe driving tips and qualify for reduced auto insurance.

“ Go Bag”: Be ready for any emergency with your Go Bag! We teach you how to keep it packed for increased personal safety and security during emergencies like severe storms, fires or power outage.

Medication Collections: The safe way to dispose of unused medications, preventing accidental use, misuse or theft.
