WINDHAM – Megan Gribbin made six foul shots in the second overtime as Windham pulled out a 61-58 win over Cheverus in a Southern Maine Activities Association girls’ basketball game Friday night.
Gribbin finished with 21 points for Windham (9-3), including 14 from the line.
Cheverus (7-4) trailed by 17 in the third quarter but forced overtime when Georgia Ford made a 3-pointer late in regulation. A 3-pointer by Alexandra Palazzi-Leahy of Cheverus sent the game to a second overtime.
Palazzi-Leahy finished with 17 points and Brooke Flaherty had 16 for the Stags.
THORNTON ACADEMY 43, PORTLAND 33: Olivia Shaw had 18 points and 12 rebounds as the Golden Trojans (7-5) defeated the Bulldogs (1-11) at Saco.
Nyaliep Deng led the Bulldogs with 14 points.
GORHAM 49, SOUTH PORTLAND 36: Jessica Rexrode scored 14 points, and Kristin Ross had 12 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Rams (6-6) past the Red Riots (6-6) at Gorham.
Ross scored nine in the first quarter to help Gorham take a 16-4 lead.
Logan Neal scored 10 points for South Portland.
DEERING 41, WESTBROOK 29: Ella Ramonas finished with 12 points and Chelsea Saucier added 10 to lead the Rams (9-4) past the Blue Blazes (6-5) at Westbrook.
Jessica Harris paced Westbrook with nine points.
BONNY EAGLE 67, KENNEBUNK 35: Olivia Dalphonse scored eight of her 15 points in the second quarter as the Scots (4-9) used a 19-8 run to take a 31-12 halftime lead at Kennebunk (1-11).
Samantha Carey had seven points and 10 rebounds for the Rams.
MARSHWOOD 58, NOBLE 39: Jorden Mitchell scored 18 points and Aubrey Folger chipped in 17 as the visiting Hawks (10-3) downed the Knights (2-10) at North Berwick.
The Hawks broke it open with a 26-9 run in the third quarter.
Chandler Waterman had seven 3-pointers and a free throw for Noble.
YORK 40, GREELY 30: Ruby Cribby scored 12 points, and Marquis MacGlashing had 11 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Wildcats (9-3) past the visiting Rangers (9-3).
York held Greely to a total of eight points in the second and third quarters while opening a 33-22 lead.
Ashley Storey scored 11 points for the Rangers.
WELLS 48, FREEPORT 38: The Warriors (8-4) made three 3-pointers in the third quarter to open a 11-point advantage on the way to a win over the Falcons (5-6) at Freeport.
Abby Moody, Jeni Wallingford and Stephanie Woods hit from long distance to help Wells break it open after leading 23-22 at halftime.
Alison Furness and Mariyah Heath scored 13 points apiece to lead Wells.
Nina Davenport had 18 points for Freeport.
FALMOUTH 46, CAPE ELIZABETH 33: Ally Hickey scored 14 points and Nicole Rogers had 12 rebounds as the Yachtsmen (7-5) topped the Capers (3-9) at Falmouth.
Falmouth outscored the Capers 21-6 in the second quarter for a 34-20 lead.
Kayla Raftice scored 10 points and Emma O’Rourke had nine for Cape.
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 55, YARMOUTH 41: Maria Valente scored 10 of her 11 points in the first half to help the Patriots (5-6) take a 35-19 lead against the Clippers (4-8) at Gray.
Maggie Chaplin added 13 points and Haley Cote had 10, including five in an 18-6 first-quarter run. Samantha Wilkins chipped in a pair of 3-pointers to help stretch the lead in the second quarter.
Morgan Cahill scored 24 points for Yarmouth.
OLD ORCHARD BEACH 55, NYA 17: Kelsey Custeau and Haley Plante each scored 13 points, and the Seagulls (7-5) pulled away in the second half against the visiting Panthers (4-6).
Plante and Christina Coleman combined for 17 points during a 23-2 run in the third quarter. Coleman finished with 11 points.
Abby Dubois had 16 rebounds and Daphne Allen finished with 15 rebounds for OOB.
Charlotte Esancy scored seven points for NYA.
LAKE REGION 59, POLAND 23: Alison Clark scored 11 points and Tiana-Jo Carter had 10 as the Lakers (12-0) beat the Knights (4-8) at Poland.
Michaella Arsenault paced the Knights with 10 points.
TRAIP ACADEMY 44, WAYNFLETE 25: Selena Lorrey scored 19 points and the Rangers (8-4) pulled away in the second half against the Flyers (5-6) at Portland.
Alli Barrett added nine points for Traip.
EDWARD LITTLE 45, MT. ARARAT 41: Ashlee Arnold was 9 for 12 at the free-throw line and had 22 points for the Red Eddies (10-2) in a victory over the Eagles (7-5) at Topsham.
Leah Hitchcock led Mt. Ararat with 18 points.
MEDOMAK VALLEY 59, MT. VIEW 29: Alanna Vose had 23 points, six assists and five steals as the Panthers (8-4) handled the Mustangs (0-12) at Waldoboro.
Mallory Conary chipped in 16 points for Medomak, which led 22-7 after one quarter.
OCEANSIDE 46, WATERVILLE 29: Kennadi Grover scored 14 points and Jill Bradbury added 10 to lead the Mariners (8-4) past the Purple Panthers (6-6) at Rockland.
BOOTHBAY 56, CARRABEC 29: Meghan Smith scored 12 points and Sarah Caron had 10 to lead the Seahawks (7-5) past the Cobras (3-9) at Boothbay Harbor.
WISCASSET 39, WINTHROP 32: Kayla Connors had 14 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Wolverines (2-10) past the Ramblers (0-10).
