BRUNSWICK — The St. John’s School girls basketball team defeated Raymond Wednesday night, 34-20.
The Vikings led most of the game and came out strong in the second half outscoring Raymond 18- 4. St. John’s defense was outstanding, led by Brooke Howard, Summer Becker and Mikayla Pietkiewicz, the latter with six boards.
Top scorers for the Vikings were Howard with 14 points, Pietkiewicz with 10 and Claire Reid with eight. Becker was also an offensive contributor.
For Raymond, Abby Gord had eight points.
