CAPE ELIZABETH – Chad Peterson and Chris Robicheaw hit 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to lift Cape Elizabeth to a 40-39 win over Yarmouth in a Western Maine Conference boys’ basketball game Friday night.

Yarmouth (8-2) led 34-31 after three quarters but managed just five points in the last eight minutes.

Rob West and Henry Babcock scored seven points apiece in the first quarter as Cape Elizabeth (6-4) opened a 16-9 lead. Yarmouth cut into the deficit in the second quarter and went ahead in the third.

Babcock finished with 14 points. Josh Britten led the Clippers with 13.

BONNY EAGLE 68, MARSHWOOD 67: Cole Libby and Dustin Cole combined for 43 points for the Scots (8-2), who rallied from a 56-48 third-quarter deficit against the Hawks (6-4) at South Berwick.

Libby had eight of his 22 points and Cole scored six of 21 in the fourth as Bonny Eagle took the lead with 3:30 to go. The Scots were 6 of 6 from the line in the quarter and 21 of 22 for the game.

Matthew Crosby scored 23 points for Marshwood. Brady Innes and Jack Letellier each had 13.

THORNTON ACADEMY 54, KENNEBUNK 30: Quinn Richardson-Newton and Adam Ek sparked a third-quarter surge that put the Trojans (6-3) ahead for good against the Rams (2-8) at Kennebunk.

The Trojans led 34-24 before outscoring Kennebunk 20-6 in the fourth quarter. Jeff Gelinas scored nine of his 19 points in the fourth.

SCARBOROUGH 61, NOBLE 43: Ben Wessel scored all 12 of his points in the first quarter, and Kevin Manning and Dillon Russo each added eight points to lead the Red Storm (6-4) over the Knights (1-9) at North Berwick.

Scarborough led 30-9 after one quarter and 41-12 at halftime.

Anthony Baker paced Noble with nine points. Grayson Waterman and Kyle Sillon each scored seven points.

SANFORD 63, WESTBROOK 54: Alex Shain scored 18 points as the Redskins (4-6) held off the Blue Blazes (4-6) at Sanford.

Jimmy Chaisson contributed 16 points and eight rebounds, and Ryan Camire added 13 points.

Will Batherson led Westbrook with 15 points.

BIDDEFORD 56, GORHAM 48: Bobby Cote scored 17 points to lead the Tigers (5-5) over the Rams (0-9) at Biddeford.

Kyle Nealey was the only Gorham player in double figures with 10 points.

GREELY 64, FREEPORT 56: Michael McDevitt had 18 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Rangers (6-4) past the Falcons (1-8) at Cumberland.

Liam Maker added 14 points and Cooper Allen had 12 for Greely, which led 31-21 at halftime.

Josh Weirich scored 17 points for Freeport.

POLAND 65, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 44: Logan Nichols scored 19 points for the Knights (6-4) in a win over the Seagulls (2-6) at Poland.

Ricky Bryant added 17 for the Knights. The Seagulls got 11 points from Quincy Grace.

HYDE 50, WAYNFLETE 48: Chris Moulton scored 14 points, Warsame Mohamed added 13 points, and the Phoenix (7-0) scored a layup at the buzzer to defeat the Flyers (8-1) at Portland.

Paul Runyambo led Waynflete with 12 points.

HAMPDEN ACADEMY 38, BRUNSWICK 37: Zach Gilpin scored 10 points as the Broncos (9-1) held off the Dragons (6-4) at Brunswick.

Mitchell Black was the only player in double figures for Brunswick with 10 points.

BREWER 65, MT. ARARAT 49: Yuhi Sasaki scored 19 points for Brewer (4-6) in a win over the Eagles (0-10) at Topsham.

Josh Wright paced Mt. Ararat with 14 points.
