BRUNSWICK — The St. John’s School girls basketball team notched its first win of the season on Monday, 35-24 over Raymond.
The Vikings’ defense held Raymond to only eight points at the half.
Brooke Howard led St. John’s with 14 points, Mikayla Pietkiewicz added eight and Claire Reid seven. Summer Becker was also a contributor with four points.
The Vikings’ defense was outstanding, with Celeste Sturniolo leading the charge.
For Raymond, Anne LaPrise led with 10 points and Katie Hunter added five.
