BATH — “ Midwinter’s Night Dream,” an exhibit of works by nine Maine artists will open with a reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Jan. 20 at the Chocolate Church Art Gallery, 804 Washington St.
“Midwinter’s Night Dream” is the first of seven exhibits planned for 2012 at the gallery.
“ The planned seven art exhibits will be seasonal or Maine inspired and each exhibit will feature a mix of disciplines,” a Chocolate Church release states. “You are invited to enjoy wintertime with several featured Maine artists and their interpretations of this special season.”
Participating artists are:
— John Orcutt, intimate winter landscape photography
— Sally Loughridge, oils and pastels
— Kevin Mizner, oil paintings
— Diana Johnson, oil paintings
— Sara Cox, ceramics
— Scott Redfern, acrylic paintings
— Ann Thompson, hand fabricated pewter table and wall accessories
— Allison Shutts, ceramics
— Susan Mills, felt/mixed media
