BATH — The Bath Middle School boys basketball team hosted Mt. Ararat on Wednesday.
The Mt. Ararat seventhgrade boys prevailed, 50-18.
Jacob Sturgis and Cole Guerin led Mt. Ararat with nine points each. Top rebounder Jacob O’Neil and Steven Gerencer chipped in with six points each.
Conner Upham and Ali Al- Fasiwali led Bath with four points each.
The Bath eighth- graders won 42-41 despite trailing 15- 13, 23-8 and 34-30 at the quarter breaks.
Shy Ulrickson led the visiting Eagles with 24 points, and Alex LaFountain, Harper Moutal, Garrett Bolduc and Deamonte Stupinski chipped in with four points each.
Justin Johnson paced Bath with 18 points, while Keegan McDonough added nine and Ayden Brillard six.
At the foul line, Bath was 13 of 28 and Mt. Ararat 10 of 17.
