Parking ban in effect

The winter parking ban continues through April 15. Parking is prohibited on any street for more than one hour between the hours of 12:01 and 6 a.m.

The following locations are available for overnight parking:

• Mechanic Street lot (behind CVS).

• Church Street lot (Warren Congregationsl Church).

• Dunn Street Legion lot.

• Ash Street lot.

• Warren Ballfield lot (Stevens Avenue)

• Bicentennial Park/Ramp lot

• Warren (outdoor) Pool lot

• Lincoln Street Skating Rink lot

• Walker Library lot

Vehicles must be removed by 8 a.m. the following day.

Permitted parking spots are designated with signs.

Carignan associate broker

Century 21 Samia Realty of Westbrook announced recently that Kim Carignan has achieved her associate broker designation.

A Westbrook native, Carignan is a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Maine State Association of Realtors. Carignan specializes in residential properties and new construction throughout Southern Maine.

Triad meeting set

The Gorham/Westbrook Triad will meet at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 13, in the Westbrook Public Safety Building, 570 Main St.

Seniors to dine

Westbrook Senior Citizens will be served a dinner at noon on Monday, Jan. 16, at Westbrook Community Center on Bridge Street. The meal includes meat loaf with gravy, potato, vegetable and lemon meringue pie.

A singer, Vickie Lee, will entertain.

Woman’s club luncheon

The midwinter luncheon of the Westbrook Woman’s Club will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 17, at the Fireside Inn on Riverside Street in Westbrook.

A social hour at 11:30 a.m. will be followed by the luncheon served at 12:30 p.m.

Dr. Phyllis Rogers of Colby College will speak. Rogers’ topic is the history of rodeo and circus beginnings.

Legion karaoke night

Carolyn Bourgeois of American Legion Post 62 has announced that karaoke would be held at the post, 17 Dunn St., 6-10 p.m. on Fridays. Karaoke began there Jan. 6.

The kitchen and cash bar will be open.
