Woodworth’s fundraising success and experience will have a major impact on supporting Spectrum Generations’ mission to promote lifelong learning, health, wellness, nutrition, community engagement and social wellbeing of all older and disabled adults.
Woodworth is a certified fundraising executive with more than 25 years of experience in the field. A graduate from University of Maine at Augusta, her past work in Maine includes director of philanthropy and public affairs at Mount Desert Hospital (2005-08), and development manager at the Jackson Laboratory (1999-2005). Her most recent position was as director of development for the New Hampshire Humanities Council in Concord.
In another staff announcement, Julie Sexton has been named to the new position of volunteer manager/ grant writer.
Sexton graduated with a B.S. degree from the University of Maine at Farmington. She lives in Winthrop and comes to Spectrum Generations from Franklin Memorial Hospital, where she was the development assistant working on annual appeals and fundraising events as well as working with volunteers.
